Buy Original HP Laserjet Toner Cartridges for Quality, Durability and Reliability
The leading international quality assurance firm, QualityLogic, recently concluded a comparative study for Hewlett Packard by testing the print quality and toner reliability of HP color laserjet toner cartridges as opposed to remanufactured laser toners. Remanufactured laser toner cartridges of 12 brands were tested for quality and reliability and undoubtedly, genuine HP proved to be far superior to their remanufactured counterparts.
The brands tested were - Corporate Express, Elite Image, GRC, Image Excellence, Office Depot, OfficeMax, K&U Printware, Kores, Lyreco, Pelikan, Supplies Team, and Best Jet.
Of all the remanufactured color laser toners tested, 80.1% had reliability problems. Almost 1 out of 6 remanufactured toner brands were dead on arrival or failed prematurely.
Most remanufactured toner cartridges claim to be as dependable as the original HP products. However, the test results show that for 78.1%, output quality has suffered immensely as most are not fade or smudge-resistant; they leave specks and lines on the print and there are color shifts and dropouts.
When the toners were tested for color consistency, it was found that all the brands confirmed significant color inconsistency when compared to HP’s colors.
HP’s concern for the environment is evident from the fact that HP has recycled around 140 million pounds of hardware and HP print cartridges globally in 2005. Moreover, it is possible to get automatic alerts when the toner runs low and the reordering for new HP products through a simple process.
